The Indian army jawan from Assam went missing following the flash flood...

Digital Desk: Sources report that on October 8 the body of the missing Indian army jawan from Assam's Baksa district was discovered.

As per army reports, the Indian army jawan from Assam went missing following the flash flood in Sikkim's Teesta River valley. 

One of the 22 soldiers missing following the flash flood in Sikkim on Wednesday (October 5) was Mitul Kalita, a craftsman working for the Indian Army's technical division. 

Mitul, who holds a job in Alipurduar, has travelled to Sikkim for official duty work. 

His family, who live in the district's Anandabazar region, is trying to get in touch but has yet to receive any information about him.
