Digital Desk: India won the ICC World Cup semi-finals after defeating New Zealand. The match, which took place today, November 15, at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium, saw a breathtaking battle between the two teams. 

India defeated the Kiwis by 70 runs, just being sweet revenge for 2019, India had proved itself to come up as the strongest team, holding an unbeaten streak of 10 match wins.


While India had a great start to the match, they suffered during New Zealand's innings. Team India, on the other hand, fought valiantly and advanced to the finals.

Mohammed Shami's 7 wicket-haul and Virat Kohli's 50th century breaking his Cricket idol 'Master-Blaster' Sachin Tendulkar's record were being the today's winning match Mantra.

Shami was skillfully assisted by Jasprit Bumrah (1/64), Kuldeep Yadav (1/56) and Mohammed Siraj (1/78). The Black Caps were bundled out for 327 in 48.5 minutes while chasing a massive victory target of 398.

In the summit showdown on November 19, the Men in Blue will face the winner of Australia and South Africa.

Hosts India defeated challenging New Zealand by 70 runs in the first semifinal at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium to go to the final of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
