Digital Desk: The number of automated teller machines (ATMs) has grown exponentially, but with this, the risk factors of misleading, theft, and robbery have also risen tremendously.


To reduce those crimes, as mentioned earlier, Assam police issued some tips that will be very helpful to ATM users.


ATM safety and security tips by Assam Police are listed below:


-Inspecting for unusual activity or persons in and around ATMs.


-Don't allow anyone to come near you while dispensing cash.


-Cover the keypad while entering the ATM PIN code. 


- Try to contact the bank for support and advice when problems occur.


-If any problem persists, try to keep calm instead of seeking help from any strangers, be cautious with your ATM card.


These are some of the tips given by the Assam Police. Be careful and follow the rules diligently for your safety.
