'Gadar 2' is a balanced film that reunites the two leads who last appeared on screen together in the 2001 blockbuster 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.' Their previous partnership was a huge success, leaving an enduring imprint on Indian cinema.

Meanwhile, 'Gadar 2' will be released in theatres on August 11, 2023. At the box office, the film will compete with Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 2'. One of the most contentious issues surrounding 'OMG 2' is Akshay Kumar's portrayal of Lord Shiva in the film. While the picture has been generating news as a result of this, the censor board has officially verified that 'OMG 2' has obtained an 'A - Adults Only' certificate.
