Digital Desk: The local Hindu community has been rattled causing uproar and anger after a vandalism incident took place at a Hindu temple in Bangladesh's Brahmanbaria area. The incident emerged in Niamatpur village's Niamat Pur Durga temple on Thursday night, leaving the residents in shock.

The accused behind the act has been identified as 36-year-old Khalil Mia. As news of the vandalism spread, the community quickly teamed up with the police to find the culprit and punish him.

Furthermore, the community was in shock after the incident, later, the confirmation of Khalil Mia's arrest was given by Brahmanbaria Police Superintendent Mohammad Shakhawat Hossain. 

Jagdish Das, the president of Niamatpur Sarvajanin Durga Temple said that, the sudden act of damage caused anger and outrage among the local Hindu residents. 

Notably, the temple, a place of worship and sanctity, witnessed multiple idols being desecrated by the accused.
 
The events leading up to the act have been clarified by investigations into the incident, it was discovered that Khalil Mia had traveled to Niamatpur village to visit his sister when a dispute with several locals turned into a horrible act of vandalism. Sadly, not just one, but five or six idols were destroyed in the terrible attack on the Durga temple.
