Digital Desk: The home ministry has boosted Mukesh Ambani's security protection, reports said.  According to reports, the threat perception report from the intelligence agency led to the security cover being increased to the "Z +" level.

Z category security was formerly granted to Mukesh Ambani, chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited. The MHA was debating bolstering businessmen' security following the bomb scare outside of billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani's home, Antilia, last year.

In what manner is security cover offered?

Security protection is provided in India to well-known individuals whose lives are at danger due to their jobs or fame. To protect people from such anti-social forces, various types of security are offered based on the information provided by the intelligence agency.

The security category is divided into five groups and given to a person once the hazards have been evaluated. Security levels X, Y, Z, Z+, SPG, and others are offered.

Athletes, celebrities, politicians, VIPs, and VVIPs all have access to this kind of security.
The second-highest level of security protection is provided by Z+. The 55-person staff, which includes 10 or more NSG commandos and police officers, is safeguarded by this security covering.

Each commando has undergone extensive instruction in martial arts and unarmed fighting.
Amit Shah, the president of the BJP, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, and other dignitaries have all received this security protection.
