The announcement aims to address uncertainty among job seekers, emphasizing the government's commitment to refining the recruitment process...

Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that the state government will maintain the current pattern for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE), following concerns raised by aspirants and the public.

This decision comes in response to feedback from aspirants and the public, who expressed concerns about potential changes to the exam pattern.

Taking to X, Sarma confirmed that the ADRE will consist of a written exam followed by a viva voce, aligning with last year's format. This decision marks a reversal from earlier considerations to adopt an Assam Public Service Commission (APSC)-like syllabus for third and fourth-grade job exams.

The announcement aims to address uncertainty among job seekers, emphasizing the government's commitment to refining the recruitment process while preserving exam standards. Sarma clarified the government's intent during a journey from Rongjuli in Goalpara to Guwahati on July 12, highlighting efforts to ensure transparency and efficiency in state job placements.
