This will be another important international game for cricket fans in Guwahati to enjoy after hosting the second T20 in the three-match series between India and South Africa in October of this year.

Digital Desk: The sale of tickets for upcoming India versus Sri Lanka ODI match to be held in Guwahati will begin on December 18, announced Assam Cricket Association (ACA) on Thursday.

As per a Press Release issued by ACA stated, “ACA is releasing tickets for sale for the upcoming ODI between India vs. Sri Lanka to be held in ACA Stadium, Guwahati on 10th January 2023 from December 18, 2022. The tickets will be available online through the portal BookMyShow.com. The sale will commence at 11 am and all category tickets will be available for purchase. Each person will be entitled to purchase 5 tickets. It is to be noted that there will be no offline sale for the general public. The value of the tickets will be ranged between Rs. 4751- (for students) upto Rs. 6000/- in various categories.”



Earlier, on Friday ACA released the category of tickets for the match. Here is the list:

It was previously revealed that talks were taking on for the organisation of an international one-day match in this area. According to reports, discussions to move one of the ODI games in the India-Sri Lanka series to the Guwahati venue were in progress.

In January of the following year, the Sri Lankan cricket team is scheduled to travel to India. To inspect the stadium, a delegation from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) planned to fly into Guwahati.
