The cubs were born on August 24 to a white tigress named Sita and a white tiger named Vijay, according to zoo authorities.

Digital Desk: Last week, three healthy white tigers were born in Delhi's National Zoological Park. According to zoo authorities, the pups were born on August 24 to a white tigress named Sita and a white tiger named Vijay.

The Delhi Zoo has published a photo of the three cubs with their mother on their official Twitter account. "We welcome our new visitors." The caption said, "Three white tiger cubs born in Delhi Zoo."

The snapshot shows the baby white tigers sleeping on dry grass while their mother sits nearby.

The cubs will be quarantined with their mother for a month, according to a letter from the Delhi Zoo. They were born to Sita, a seven-year-old tigress, and Vijay, a seven-year-old tiger.

In a video message announcing the cubs' birth, Delhi Zoo director Dharamdeo Rai stated, "I am extremely glad to notify you about the birth of the three tiger cubs at the Delhi zoo. As you are aware, the Delhi Zoo is one of the zoos actively engaged in tiger conservation and breeding.

After seven years, white tigers successfully gave birth in the zoo, according to Rai. He said that the tigress and the pups were also doing well.

The Zoo stated in a statement that they also want to raise visitor awareness of the role that zoos play in protecting wildlife as well as the role that species play in preserving an ecosystem's balance.

The birth of the three cubs, according to zoo officials, is a "major step" in the conservation breeding of tigers.
