Digital Desk: The viral Kacha Badam song has swept the internet, becoming one of the most popular songs on Instagram reels and other social media platforms. While scrolling through Instagram, it's difficult to avoid seeing videos of people dancing to the song's upbeat sounds. However, we bet you didn't realise that the song was written by a West Bengal peanut vendor named Bhuban Badyakar! However, the issue of who Bhuban Badyakar is remains unanswered. This is everything you need to know about him! Also Read: Boy from Bihar identifies ‘bug’ in Google Bhuban Badyakar is the peanut vendor in the viral video who sung the song. He lives in the Dubrajpur block of Kuraljuri village in West Bengal's Birbhum district's Lakshminarayanpur Panchayat. Bhuban's five-member family consists of his wife, two boys, and a daughter. Badyakar recently told ETimes that he wants to pursue his musical career and that the affection he's gotten on social media has 'brought tears to his eyes.' Badyakar is a professional peanut seller who accepts little trinkets and damaged household things in return for peanuts. He sells peanuts in far-flung communities by bicycle. Every day, he sells 3- 4 kg of peanuts and gets Rs 200-250. He has, however, been selling more more peanuts than normal since being known as the Kacha Badam guy. Bhuban Badyakar has had a difficult financial situation. Bhuban displayed his poor adobe and living place in an interview with AajTak. "I simply want people to know about my song," he told the site, "and I want the government to help me with some finances so that I can establish some permanent living circumstances for my family." I also wish to provide them with nutritious food and appropriate clothing." Bhuban was pleasantly pleased by his unexpected social media stardom after selling peanuts for over ten years. "I have no idea how my song became so popular. While I was out on the streets, someone most likely taped my music. I sell peanuts in regions like Birbhum and Bardhaman," Bhuban remarked. The song, which Badyakar wrote to sell peanuts and attract customers, was initially published to YouTube two months ago and has already racked up over 21 million views. Nazmu Reachat, a musician, later developed a remix of the song, which went viral on Instagram.
