18 passengers in Guwahati Railway Station tested Covid-19 positive

Guwahati: Around 18 passengers were tested Covid-19 positive in Guwahati Railway Station. The cases were detected in the railway station itself after the mandatory Covid-19 test by Assam Government.

According to report, 18 Covid-19 positive people were found out of 635 passengers who were tested at the railway station. Moreover, the positive passengers have been asked to stay at home islolation.

The Railway authority said, on daily basis 4-5 trains enters Guwahati as most of the people have returned to Assam due to lockdown in other states.

Notably, the passengers travelling in local trains have not been tested yet.
