Due to the alarming rise in the rise of Covid-19 cases, many celebrations such as marriage or weddings have taken a step back. People are either cancelling or postponing their celebrations of weddings.
However the people, who are still going ahead with ceremonies, are coming up with unique ideas of social distancing measures while tying knots.
A couple from Bihar’s Begusarai, decided to adopt a unique way of maintain social physical distancing while getting married. Pictures of the couple is going viral, both the groom and the bride can be seen using sticks to put garland during the ceremony.
The couple, dressed in their wedding attires, used two bamboo sticks to put garlands on each other, also wearing masks.
The incident is going viral and talks of the town and people are lauding them for creating awareness about social distancing which is extremely important during this Covid-19 situation.
In the Covid-19 era, the concept of big fat Indian wedding has been replaced with small and intimate ceremonies, instead of flowers guests are now being welcomed with masks and sanitizers.
