Digital Desk: In a significant development, Assam Police apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals who illegally entered India through Tripura.

The detained individuals have been identified as MD Abu Shaid, Asadul Islam, and MD Sarwar, who hail from Rajshahi district, Bangladesh.

During their arrest, authorities discovered that one of the men had an Aadhaar card, highlighting potential misuse of India’s biometric identification system.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed the arrest on social media, revealing that the men planned to travel to Chennai for work.
