Digital Desk: According to the most recent government data, India recorded an average of 79 murder cases per day in 2019. According to data compiled by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), a total of 28,918 murder cases were registered in 2019, representing a 0.3% decrease from 2018 (29,017 cases).
