Digital Desk: Assam's Minister of Education, Ranoj Pegu, announced that the state will no longer conduct the traditional matriculation test. According to Ranoj Pegu, class 10 exams will henceforth be based on a model similar to class 8 and 9 exams.
The prestigious Anandaram Baruah Award, which honours academic distinction, will now be available to students in Classes 5, 8, and 10.

Assam HSLC examinations will no longer be conducted from the next year, according to a June 2023 announcement made by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
