Digital Desk: On Friday, a 3-year-old Royal Bengal Tiger was discovered dead in Kaziranga National Park & Tiger Reserve (KNPTR) in Assam. The cadaver, which is thought to be roughly 13 days old, was discovered by forest guards near the Karasinga forest camp area in the park's Kohora range. Ramesh Gogoi, District Forest Office (DFO) of Kaziranga National Park & Tiger Reserve. "Today, a Royal Bengal tiger corpse was discovered near Karasinga camp. We are currently prepared to dispose of the corpse in accordance with NTCA protocol. We discovered the tiger's skull was smashed after an investigation. We doubt the tiger perished as a result of a struggle with wild buffalo. The tiger was a youngster of around three years old." (ANI) Last month, the carcass of a full-grown rhino was discovered in Hikekahonda, Assam, under the Kaziranga Range. Later, it was found that poachers had killed it, and the Assam Police had issued financial prizes of Rs 2 lakh in order to apprehend the perpetrators. These suspects, named as Abdul Matin, Ataur Rahman, and Asmat Ali, are Biswanath district residents who were later captured.
