Digital Desk: The Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) appears to have turned into a favourite target of criminals, including touts, kidnappers, and phoney employment agencies.

In the most recent occurrence, the Superintendent of the GMCH filed a police report at the Bhangagarh Police Station regarding a fraudulent advertisement that was being shared on social media and claimed to provide female applicants permanent work at the institution.

The fact that there won't be a written exam or interview and that the posts-old will pay Rs. 15,500 per month has been made known to prospective applicants.

The OC of Bhangagarh Police Station informed Prag News that the inquiry is underway and that the offenders will soon be in jail. He continued, "This is wrong, giving false hope to women who need a job."
