Yoga acts as a vital link that ties civil-military relations together and strengthens them.

Digital Desk: Yoga has been a regular practice for the Indian Army's Gajraj Corps soldiers as a way to improve their operational preparedness. By using yoga to energise their thoughts, condition their hearts, and increase their battle readiness significantly, the soldiers enduring the incredibly hostile terrain and weather in the Gajraj Corps Zone have created an opportunity for themselves.

Locals in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are also taught the fundamentals of yoga. On June 21, 2023, both Indian Army soldiers and people in the Gajraj Zone celebrated the 9th International Day of Yoga with great zeal, fervour, and enthusiasm.

Along with events that were centrally organised at all military bases, including Tezpur, Rupa, Tenga, Misamari, Tawang, and Rangia, as well as all the forward posts-old along the border, a celebration was also held at the iconic Bumla Pass, where Pema Khandu, the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh, participated in yoga alongside the military.

Yoga acts as a vital link that ties civil-military relations together and strengthens them. The force of yoga, which therefore unites the body, mind, and spirit, is enjoyed by the locals who willingly join in yoga events organised by Indian Army troops.
