Thiruvananthapuram: In an oddly and the first curious case of covid vaccination drive, a man from Kerala born without hands, got his vaccine shots on his legs. The 22 year old man suffering from congenital amputation became the world’s first rare case to have received his vaccine shots on his legs.

Pranav Balasubrahmanyam, a resident of Alathur, was born without both hands, but was “inoculated surpassing the physical hurdles in his fight against novel coronavirus spread.”

As he reached the vaccination centre riding his bicycle, the health workers at the centre were confused as to how inoculate the man. After seeking prior permission from authorities, the health workers jabbed on the man’s leg.

Balasubrahmanyam was earlier in the news when he took a selfie with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in 2019 as he handed over a sum of Rs 5,000 to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) from his savings to help the flood victims.
