Digital Desk: A 23-year-old woman has become the first Civil Court judge from the Malayali tribe in Tamil Nadu.

V Sripathy passed the TNPSC Civil Judge test. Sripathy hails from Yelagiri Hills in the Thirupathur district. Sripathy, the eldest daughter of Kaliappan and Malliga, was born in Thuvinjikuppam, Thiruvannamalai, next to a reserved forest.

"I am pleased to see a tribal girl from an underprivileged hill village achieve this at such a young age," Chief Minister MK Stalin remarked, praising Sripathy's achievement. 
 
Sripathy's appointment to the judiciary is a testament to our government's dedication to providing employment opportunities for educated Tamil people first priority. Thank you for your support, her mother and spouse."

Sripathy's tenacity was also commended by Tamil Nadu Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. 

 The DMK Minister expressed his happiness, saying, "We are honored that Sister Sripathy has been selected by our government's ordinance to serve as a Jurisprudence Judge. It is admirable that she persisted despite difficult conditions, such as sitting the exam barely two days after giving birth."
