Unnao: In yet another horrific case of female atrocity coming from Uttar Pradesh, three minor Dalit girls were found in unconscious state in a field of which two died and the third is in critical condition. The girls’ family claim that the girls went out to gather fodder and they suspect that the girls might have been poisoned by miscreants.

SP Unnao Anand Kulkarni has said, “Two girls died at the hospital and one has been referred to the district hospital. As per initial information, the girls had gone to cut grass. The doctor states that there are symptoms of poisoning. An investigation is on.”

The officer further added that six police teams have been formed for the investigation and prima facie it looks like a case of poisoning as a “lot of froth was found at the spot”.
