Patna: After the High Court granted bail to the senior RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav in a fodder scam case, the junior Yadav expressed gratitude to the court as well as exclaimed with happiness stating that he and his family were confident of Lalu's release.

We were confident that we'll get justice. Lalu ji has served half of his sentence, High Court granted him bail on that ground. We thank High Court. He's admitted at AIIMS. We are happy he got bail but we are worried about his health: Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Yadav's son & RJD leader.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President Lalu Prasad Yadav was granted bail on Saturday by the Jharkhand High Court in a case linked to the fodder scam.

Lalu Prasad was convicted in four cases related to the fodder scam. He has already been granted bail on the other three cases and is likely to walk out of prison.
