Digital Desk: Banks will be closed for a total of 10 days in November, including weekend leaves on Saturday and Sunday. Banks will be closed on all public holidays, with some regional holidays depending on the state, according to the guidelines.

Banks will be closed in the coming week, beginning on November 7th and ending on November 14th, 2022.

Except for Shillong and Bengaluru, banks will be open in all other states and cities.

It should be noticed that banks are open every first and third Saturday of the month. The Reserve Bank of India divides holidays into three categories: holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement, and bank closings. People are advised to confirm the holiday dates in their particular states when planning bank-related work.

Due to these festivities, bank services will be disrupted in local branches throughout the states concerned. To avoid any disruption, it is best to organise your bank-related tasks around the holidays. Customers will be able to use services such as online banking and UPI even when banks are closed for holidays.
