Reportedly, Bhagwant Mann has invited AAP chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in his swearing-in-ceremony.

Digital Desk: Two days after winning a landslide victory in the Punjab Assembly election, Aam Aadmi Party leader and state's CM-designate Bhagwant Mann said that he would take the oath as the state's new Chief Minister on March 16 in Khatkar Kalan, the hometown of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. "I met with the Governor, handed over our MLAs' letters of support, and staked my claim to form the government. He instructed me to inform him of the location of the swearing-in ceremony. It will take place on March 16 at 12.30 p.m. in Bhagat Singh's hometown of Khatkar Kalan," Bhagwant Mann stated. Moreover, Mann also promised to make historic decisions that had never been made before. He stated, "People from all over Punjab will attend the ceremony and pay their respects to Bhagat Singh. We will have a good cabinet, and historic decisions will be made that have never been made before. But, for this, you will have to wait." The 48-year-old was elected as the AAP Legislature Party's leader at a meeting of the party's MLAs in Mohali on Friday. Reportedly, Mann has invited AAP chief and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in his swearing-in-ceremony. The AAP won 92 of the 117 seats in the Punjab Assembly. It eradicated the Congress and the SAD-BSP alliance, and its candidates defeated several stalwarts, including Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, SAD patriarch Parkash Singh Badal, and former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
