Digital Desk: In the view of a hung Assembly in Manipur, the Congress has sent three observers to the state to monitor the post-election situation.Reportedly, to monitor the situation, the party has assigned T.S. Singhdeo, a cabinet minister in the Chhattisgarh government, Vincent Pala, and Mukul Wasnik.Congress has ordered all of its observers and party in-charges to keep track of all newly elected MLAs and report back the same to the party's central leadership by March 10. According to sources, this is being done to keep its team together.Meanwhile, President of the Karnataka Congress D.K. Shivakumar has been sent to Goa to monitor and strategize the situation there.According to Congress sources, he will camp in Goa for three days to ensure that the age-old party, which missed out on forming the government in the last Assembly elections, does not repeat the same mistakes. Shivakumar is expected to stay in Goa until the new government is constituted.Aside from the top observers, the party has another set of leaders in states where the party expects a close competition or a hung Assembly. Goa's senior observer is P. Chidambaram, Manipur's is Jairam Ramesh, Uttarakhand's is Mohan Prakash, Uttar Pradesh's is Bhupesh Baghel, and Punjab's is Ajay Maken.
