Digital Desk: The sacred Kedarnath Temple is being beautifully adorned with flowers ahead of the opening of its portals for the summer pilgrimage season at 8:00 AM on 22nd April. Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, will be present on the occasion as the temple gates open to devotees.

In a significant move, temple authorities have announced a complete ban on the use of mobile phones within the temple premises. The decision has been taken to preserve the sanctity of the shrine and ensure the convenience of pilgrims. Carrying mobile phones inside the temple complex, as well as taking photographs, recording videos, or creating social media reels, is strictly prohibited.

A member of the temple committee stated that any devotee found violating these rules will face legal action. The committee has also appealed to pilgrims to adhere to the guidelines and maintain religious decorum to ensure a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling darshan experience for all visitors.

Meanwhile, the Rudraprayag police administration has implemented a comprehensive traffic management plan to facilitate the smooth and safe movement of devotees during the pilgrimage season. Arrangements have been strengthened from national highways to connecting link roads in anticipation of a heavy influx of pilgrims.

Temple authorities have informed that a detailed traffic plan has been formulated for the yatra in the district, with coordination established with neighboring districts. The traffic system has been divided into two super zones and 11 sectors to ensure efficient management throughout the pilgrimage period.
