Thirty-one nakas/checkpoints have been installed strategically to monitor and control movement throughout the activities, which cover both hill and valley sectors.

Digital Desk: Manipur Police have made significant efforts to uphold peace and order by conducting naka checking, movement facilitation, and broad search operations throughout the state's districts. This crackdown has led to the seizure of a sizable cache of firearms and the incarceration of 255 people who are allegedly in violation of the law.

Thirty-one nakas/checkpoints have been installed strategically to monitor and control movement throughout the activities, which cover both hill and valley sectors. Authorities have made sure that 206 vehicles carrying necessities—important for communities' sustenance in the face of persistent challenges—pass safely along National Highway-2, the lifeline for necessary supplies.

Strict surveillance has been implemented in high-risk regions to reinforce security measures, and security convoys have been sent in to protect critical roads. By taking these steps, illegal activity will be reduced and an atmosphere that supports free mobility will be promoted.

Security forces made a major discovery during a recent search operation in the Imphal West District. A variety of weapons were found in the recovery, including a CMG with magazine, a 9mm pistol with magazine, and a Hy cal. 70mm launcher, two Pumpi Guns manufactured in the nation, HE-36 hand grenades, IEDs with iron containers, live ammunition rounds, and a Baofeng Set Motorola.
