Alen Deory is dealing with several problems that are endangering his life and his career...

Digital Desk: Alen Deory, a star football player for Assam, has received financial help from the State Level Advisory Committee for Students & Youth Welfare for Rs 4 lakh.

The financial assistance for the football player's knee injury treatment has been approved by the advisory committee.

Gitartha Goswami, the advisory committee member and secretary, announced this on Friday. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the Chief Minister of Assam and the Chairman of SLAC, gave their approval.

Notably, it has been stated that Alen Deory is dealing with several problems that are endangering his life and his career. He unexpectedly suffered an injury in the ISL in 2020.

He was born in Guwahati, Assam, Deory belongs to the Tiwa community. He began his career when he joined the Assam-based Sports Authority of India's football program. In 2011, he joined the Tata Football Academy, although he only remained there for three months before leaving for Florida in the United States to join the IMG Academy after receiving an IMG-Reliance Scholarship.

Deory played for India under-13, under-14, under-16, under-19 and India U23 levels.
