An exquisite Indian vegetarian plate including cuisines from all over the nation will be served to the G20 leaders...


Digital Desk: Several leaders from all over the world arrived in New Delhi on Friday in preparation for the G20 Summit, which will begin on Saturday.


Among them are Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, and US President Joe Biden. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been in discussions with several leaders, including his colleagues from Bangladesh and Mauritius, ahead of the summit's official commencement on Saturday.


An exquisite Indian vegetarian plate including cuisines from all over the nation will be served to the G20 leaders. The menu for tonight's dinner with the world's leaders is listed below.


Salad: Tossed Indian green salad, Pasta and grilled vegetable salad, Chickpea salad


Soup: Roasted Almond and vegetable broth, 


Vegetarian:


Main Course: Paneer Lababdar (Uttar Pradesh dish), Potato Lyonnaise, Subz Korma (Andhra Pradesh dish), Kaju Matar Makhana, Penne in Arrabiata Sauce


Lentil: Jawar Dal Tadka (Uttar Pradesh dish)

 

Rice: Pyaz Jeera Ki Pulao (Punjabi dish)


Indian Bread: Tandoori Roti, Butter Naan, Kulcha

 

Accompaniments: Cucumber Raita, Tamarind, and Date Chutney, Mix Pickle


Plain Curd


Dessert: Kuttu Malpua (UP special), Kesar Pista Rasmalai (Odisha special), Warm Walnut and Ginger Pudding, Strawberry Ice Cream, Black Currant Ice Cream

 

The two-day summit has a packed schedule, and its theme is "the world is one family," drawing inspiration from the Sanskrit phrase “vasudhaiva kutumbakam.”


The International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC), popularly known as Bharat Mandapam, is a complex in central Delhi where India is hosting its first summit. Bharat Mandapam, also known as the "culture corridor," will display various customs from 29 countries, including India and special G20 invitees, throughout the summit. Visitors to this showcase will get an immersive experience including both physical and virtual exhibitions.
