Bengaluru: Eleven people including the driver, died when their tempo-traveler collided with a truck near Karnataka’s Dharwad city.

As per police reports, seven others have received injuries of which five are in critical condition in the accident that took place at a crossing some 8 kilometres from Dharwad city.

The injured were shifted to the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences for treatment, the police said.

All the travelers were women who were going to Goa from Karnataka’s Davangere for a family function, as per police reports.
