The babies were allegedly born on Saturday at the government-run primary health care in Kairana and were then transferred to a private clinic that same day...

Digital Desk: Two babies died at a private clinic allegedly as a result of being kept in a room that was too cold, police said.

The parents of the babies said that Dr. Neetu, the clinic's owner, had left the air conditioner (AC) running all night on Saturday so that he could have his sleep. The next morning, the babies were found dead.

Neetu has been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder in accordance with section 304 of the IPC, according to SHO (Kairana) Netrapal Singh. This follows a complaint from the relatives of the children.
He has been arrested, the SHO said.

In the interim, a probe into the occurrence has been mandated by the health department.

Additional chief medical officer (ACMO), Dr. Ashvani Sharma stated that individuals found culpable in this instance will face harsh punishment.

The babies were allegedly born on Saturday at the government-run primary health care in Kairana and were then transferred to a private clinic that same day, according to the complaint.

To receive treatment, they were housed at the phototherapy facility. The youngsters were discovered dead at the flat the following morning when their family went to visit them, according to Neetu, who had turned on the air conditioner the previous Saturday night so they could sleep.

In response to the tragedy, the victims' families protested and demanded strict punishment against Neetu.
