Digital Desk: On Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President J P Nadda will meet with Devendra Fadnavis, the party's Maharashtra leader, to examine the state's developments after senior Shiv Sena leader and minister Eknath Shinde, along with as many as 20 MLAs, decamped to Surat, Gujarat.

Nitin Gadkari, a Maharashtra-born Union minister, is also on his way to Delhi. Fadnavis had gone earlier in the day for Delhi.
"If an Eknath Shinde-led group makes an offer, we will certainly examine it," BJP Maharashtra unit president Chandrakant Patil told the reporters. We are a political organisation. "Despite the fact that what transpired was a Sena internal matter, the BJP is concerned because it was the BJP's oldest alliance partner with a more than 25-year connection," he added.
Patil also alluded to Eknath Shinde's alleged dissatisfaction with the Shiv Sena. Sanjay Raut's over-smartness will cost the Shiv Sena dearly. The current crisis is a sign of this, as long-serving leaders are humiliated. "Moreover, the entire political establishment is aware of Raut's agenda.
Meanwhile, Ekanath Shinde was sacked as the Shiv Sena chief whip and MLA Ajay Chaudhary was given that post.
