Digital Desk: In a pivotal development for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Asom Jatiya Parishad convened a crucial meeting at Hotel Tree Fern in Dibrugarh city today. Among the agenda items was the discussion surrounding the candidature of Lurinjyoti Gogoi, a prominent figure in Assam's political landscape.


Lurinjyoti hinted at an imminent announcement, stating that only a few moments remained before the big reveal. While an exact time remained undisclosed, speculation swirled within the party ranks, suggesting that the announcement would take place tomorrow at Barpathar ground in Dibrugarh.


Sources within the Asom Jatiya Parishad revealed that the formal declaration of Lurinjyoti Gogoi's candidature is anticipated around 10:30 AM tomorrow. The party is poised to stage a grand event at Barpathar ground, where supporters and party workers will gather to witness the historic moment.


Today's closed-door meeting witnessed the presence of several influential leaders, including Chittaranjan Basumatary, Anup Phukan, Biren Baruah, and Manik Phukan. Lurinjyoti, addressing the media, assured supporters that the decision-making process was meticulously crafted, taking into account the aspirations and expectations of the public.


"We conducted a thorough analysis of constituency demographics and social dynamics," Lurinjyoti shared, emphasizing the party's commitment to strategic planning and effective micro-management of the electoral process.
