The police have unearthed startling information in relation to the missing case. The two girls were reportedly victims of human trafficking.

Digital Desk: The three accused boys who were taken into prison in relation to the Guwahati schoolgirl case were reportedly placed in 14-day detention on Friday, reports said.

According to sources, the three accused appeared before the Kamrup Chief Judicial Magistrate's (CJM) court in Guwahati earlier today. After their 14-day custody period expires, they will appear in court once more.

The three accused, Madhab Das, Arun Das, and Rahul Kalita, had their medical examinations today, according to sources. 
 
The two girls, named Madhusmita Baishya and Bandita Bhomik, went missing from the Noonmati area in Guwahati on Wednesday. However, they were rescued from Tihu yesterday.

The police have unearthed startling information in relation to the missing case. The two girls were reportedly victims of human trafficking. According to sources, accused Madhab Das took them by rail from Guwahati to Tihu.

It is said that the girls were staying at the home of Arun Das's sister, Junumoni Ramchiary, in Tihu.

Additionally, Madhab is a little child who is blind and performs songs on train platforms. It remains to be seen how the girls got to know him. He is reportedly being questioned by the police at the moment.

On Thursday night, the Noonmati Police arrested Rahul, while Madhab and Arun were apprehended from Tihu in the Nalbari district.
