The first step is to delete huge emails to free up space on your Gmail account. You must take these actions to accomplish this.

Digital Desk: Millions of individuals use Gmail, the email service offered by search engine behemoth Google. It has become a popular option for internet users as an email platform for both personal and professional uses.

However, users may start to worry about Gmail's storage limitations.

Only 15 GB of data can be stored for free on a Google account. Along with Gmail, the specified area also includes the data from Google Photos, Google Drive, and other services. You receive a message warning you that the storage is about to fill up whenever the data approaches the 15 GB limit. How can you quickly purge superfluous data without having to meticulously remove each and every pointless email?

Method 1

The first step is to delete huge emails to free up space on your Gmail account. You must take these actions to accomplish this.

STEP 1: In the search bar of your Gmail, type this: has:attachment larger:10M.

STEP 2: All the mails having size of more than 10 megabytes will appear in the mail box.

STEP 3: Select all these mails and unmark those which are important. Press delete button.

STEP 4: Go to the Trash folder, press ‘Empty Trash’ button.

Method 2

This is the second way to free up space that has been clogged up by pointless mail. Promotional mail and newsletters are frequent, some of which are useless and take up unnecessary storage space. You only need to open these emails and click the "Unsubscribe" button. When a pop-up window appears, simply choose the "Unsubscribe" option once more.
