Digital Desk: In order to support its argument that males are substantially more responsible for the "climate catastrophe" than women, Peta cited a study that appeared in the journal PLOS ONE. 

According to Peta, men who eat meat contribute 41% more to greenhouse gas emissions.

Because of this, Peta is advocating a ban on having sex with meat-eating men in an effort to convince them to become vegans.

Social media users, on the other hand, held a different perspective and criticized the Peta campaign as ludicrous.

In a video, Dr. Carys Bennett, a Peta spokesman, asserted that men and women had different dietary needs. Men had a larger carbon footprint than women because they consumed more meat. The Peta sex prohibition campaign, according to Bennett, is a "tongue in cheek" idea.
