Guwahati will host the Rajasthan Royals as the home team against two other franchises in the IPL 2023 season...

Digital Desk: The Rajasthan Royals arrived in Guwahati on Saturday night to prepare for this year's Indian Premier League (IPL), with the club slated to play two matches as the home team.

The Rajasthan Royals, who have an agreement with the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) to promote the sport in this region of the country, will play two league matches this season at the ACA Barsapara Stadium, which was confirmed with the release of the IPL 2023 schedule.

Guwahati will host the Rajasthan Royals as the home team against two other franchises in the IPL 2023 season, which begins later this month on March 31. 

Rajasthan Royals will play Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals on April 5 and 8, respectively.

Based on the most recent information obtained, the Rajasthan Royals team will spend a week in Guwahati preparing for the event. According to rumours, the team arrived last night and will begin preparations today.

As the IPL revealed the schedule for this year's edition on February 17, it was confirmed that Guwahati will host two IPL matches this year, with the Rajasthan Royals serving as the home team.

The Rajasthan Royals will face the Punjab Kings in the first of two IPL matches on April 5 in Guwahati, according to the schedule (Wednesday). The game will begin at 7.30 p.m. 

Furthermore, the second IPL match will be played two days later on April 8 (Saturday), with Rajasthan Royals face off against Delhi Capitals. The game is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM.
