Digital Desk: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's Jan Ashirwad Yatra marked its fifth day today.


The journey began today when CM Sarma initiated the Yatra from Naharkatia in Upper Assam.


Upon landing at the public playground in Naharkatia via helicopter, the Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by members of the Muslim community from Rangali Pathar.


In a remarkable gesture, the community paused their Friday prayers to greet CM Sarma.


Men and women gathered in front of the Rangali Pathar mosque to express their support and extend blessings.


They also contributed Rs 11,111 towards his election fund, showcasing their appreciation for his efforts in developing Assam.


The community expressed their gratitude, acknowledging CM Sarma's significant efforts in advancing Assam's progress, which inspired their financial support.


In response, the Chief Minister recognised the support of Assamese Muslim community in Upper Assam for the BJP and conveyed his heartfelt thanks for their contribution.


He warmly accepted the donation, extending his gratitude for their support and blessings.
