The protesting wrestlers attempted to immerse their medals in the Ganga in Haridwar, but were stopped by farmers' activist Naresh Tikait.

igital Desk: Satyawrat Kadian, the husband of top wrestler Sakshi Malik, claimed Saturday's meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah was inconclusive since the wrestlers "did not get the reaction they wanted from the Home Minister."

The meeting began late on Saturday at Amit Shah's residence in Delhi and lasted until late that night, as wrestlers demanded the arrest of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan.

"Because we didn't get the reaction we wanted from the Home Minister, we left the meeting." We are planning our strategy for the protest's future direction. "We will not back down," Kadian declared, hinting that the wrestlers are plotting their next move.

The protesting wrestlers attempted to immerse their medals in the Ganga in Haridwar, but were stopped by farmers' activist Naresh Tikait. Their release was followed by a demand to the government that BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh be arrested before June 9.

Before seeing Amit Shah, the wrestlers visited with Sports Minister Anurag Thakur. Thakur pledged a "fair investigation into their allegations."

Wrestlers have been protesting Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, saying that he sexually abused female wrestlers, including a juvenile. Brij Bhushan has so far faced two FIRs, and he has been charged under the Pocso Act.
