Digital Desk: Trinamool Congress MP, Mahua Moitra, responded to people who commented on a previous tweet about a Delhi IAS couple who were relegated to two corners of the country after charges that they forced a state-run stadium to close early so they could walk their dog. 'Transfer is NOT (the) only disciplinary option available for delinquent personnel,' the Lok Sabha MP tweeted, addressing 'Vishwaguru devotees.'

One tiny note for those Vishwaguru devotees who are pointing out what AGMUT stands for: Transfer is NOT the only disciplinary option accessible to delinquent personnel. Have you ever considered it?"

After home minister Amit Shah visited Arunachal Pradesh last week and complimented the state, Mahua Moitra accused the federal home ministry of paying lip service to the north-eastern states.

Transferring a "errant Delhi bureaucrat" to Arunachal, she added, reflected negatively on the state's position and contradicted Shah's statements.

"Why should a rogue Delhi bureaucrat be sent to Arunachal Pradesh? Why do you give lip service to the northeast but treat it like a garbage dump? "Pema Khandu, the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh, was the person she addressed her question to.

The post drew a barrage of criticism, with some bringing up the BJP's and Trinamool's symbiotic political relationship.

Both officials in question are from the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories) cadre, according to another source.

Sanjeev Khirwar and Anu Dugga, two IAS officers, have been sent to the UTs of Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh, respectively, with 'immediate effect.'

The feud erupted after the Indian Express published a photograph of them walking a dog on a track. The Delhi government stadium had been cleared on their orders, according to the report, so they could walk the dog.

The allegations, according to Khirwar, are false.

Meanwhile, the entire incident has generated a meme frenzy on Twitter, with users now more concerned about the dog's welfare.
