There are currently efforts being made to evacuate those who are trapped inside the Levana Hotel in Hazratganj after fire tenders arrived there. 18 people have been evacuated so far.

Digital; Desk: On Monday morning, a massive fire broke out at a hotel in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and the fire has claimed the lives of at least 2 people and 7 are being treated at the hospital.

According to reports, Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, reportedly met with those who were injured and are being treated at the Civil Hospital. He recognised the situation and gave the go-ahead for personnel to treat those hurt in the fire as soon as possible. Additionally, it has been ordered that the District Magistrate and senior police officers arrive at the scene right away and hasten the relief and rescue efforts.

Officials said, about a dozen patients were transported quickly to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee hospital. Seven of them are receiving medical care, while two of them passed away.

The other people were released. Firefighter Chandresh Yadav was among those hurt; he suffered burn wounds while saving victims.

Rajnath Singh, a politician from Lucknow and the defence minister, was aware of the incidence. "I learned about the awful hotel fire that occurred in Lucknow. I have enquired with the local government about the circumstance. Rescue and relief efforts are ongoing. My office stays in close contact with the local government. I ask God to grant those hurt in the incident a quick recovery "In a tweet, Singh stated.

The deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak informed, a probe into the event has been ordered, and those found responsible would face harsh punishment. Commissioner Lucknow Division and Police Commissioner Lucknow will jointly investigate the incident, according to Director (Information) Shishir Singh.
