Diphu: United People’s Revolutionary Front (UPRF) commander-in-chief Mangin Kholhou alias Veerappan was killed in a conflict between two groups of UPRF at Singhason hills of Karbi Anglong as per the report.
As per the police official, the incident took place inside a deep forest adjacent to Thangpibung village. Later, after the clash, the police reached the place and brought the body of Veerappan to Bokajan Civil Hospital and later to Diphu Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
Further, the police confirmed that the incident took place between the two groups of URRP with no information on arms recovery has been confirmed by the police.
