Former Under-19 Nepal cricket team captain Sandeep Lamichhane captained them in the 2016 Asia Cup.

Digital Desk: A 17-year-old girl in Nepal has accused Sandeep Lamichhane, the captain of the Nepali cricket team, of rape. In the meantime, Nepali police have opened an investigation into the player following a young girl's rape complaint.

In this regard, Kathmandu police have opened a case. Lamichhane is at now playing in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). He has not yet responded to the significant accusations made against him.

According to a report in the Nepali news outlet "Online Khabar," Bharat Bahadur Bohora, the head of the Kathmandu District Police Range, said the police circle in the city's Gaushala submitted the complaint on Wednesday.
