Sources claim that this app's services will extend all the way to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI).

Digital Desk: The Assam Government has established a new taxi service that operates through an app, called "ASTC City Cab." Parimal Suklabaidya, the Assam Minister of Transport, Excise, and Fisheries, introduced the app in Guwahati.

The Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) has made the app available to Guwahati residents as part of a special programme.

According to information, using this software will significantly assist travellers.

This taxi business will reportedly employ up to 50,000 cabs, according to sources. The service would also be advantageous to the drivers since they will only be required to pay Rs. 12.50 per day in commission for each journey to the app.

Sources claim that this app's services will extend all the way to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI).

The taxi service will also provide long-distance travel that prioritises the comfort and security of the patrons.

Additionally, they guarantee that drivers won't cancel any trips, and they provide safety features including an emergency panic button, an airport hotline button, and an AI chatbot helpdesk for questions.

On the other hand, drivers will be able to sign up for the app starting right now. After a one-month trial, clients will also be able to download the app.
