Digital Desk: On Thursday, a fire broke out at a coaching institute in northwest Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar area, leading students to jump out of windows. Eleven fire trucks reached the scene, and rescue operations are ongoing to put out the flames.

According to initial details stated by Atul Garg, Director of Delhi Fire Service, "the fire broke out at 12.27 p.m.," and in a video posted by the fire service, persons, mostly students, can be seen being rescued by firefighters via the windows. 


Students can be seen escaping using wires in a viral video after a fire broke out inside an educational facility. So far, no fatalities have been reported.


"The fire started because of an electric metre, and it has now been extinguished. The incident resulted in the minor injuries of four students. "The fire was not that large," said Atul Garg. 

In addition, Delhi Fire Department also stated that "Everyone has been rescued from the building, and the firefighting operation has been completed." "There have been no major injuries reported thus far."
