The wreckage of the floods drowned the majority of the Orang national park in Assam's Darrang district.

Digital Desk: This time, the flood in Assam had affected not only people's lives but also impacted wildlife.

Deriving from rich flora and fauna, Orang is a national park in India located on the northern bank of the Brahmaputra River in the Darrang and Sonitpur districts of Assam.

The floods have harmed biodiversity at the Orang national park in Assam's Darrang district.

Reportedly it was discovered that a large part of the park had been flooded by the Brahmaputra River and its tributary Dhanshri's overflowing water.

Despite the odds, forest guards were seen on foot, elephants, and boats, keeping a close eye on any poachers who might be looking to take advantage of the floods to hunt animals.

Meanwhile, a source from the Orang national park in Assam claims that thirteen of the forty-one forest protection camps have been submerged.

However, no event of wildlife loss has been reported as of the filing of this report.

The wild animals have taken refuge in the national park's secure highlands.

Meanwhile, compared to earlier floods, the impact of this wave of flooding, which inundated most of the Orang national park in Assam's Darrang district, is considered severe.

Many people are concerned that the park's road infrastructure will be severely damaged.
