However, a day after its launch, the Pakistani singer took to social media to announce that he had not sold the rights to his song “Nach Punjaban” to any Indian film or production company. He said that this was the sixth time his song had been copied.

Sharing this news on Twitter, Abrar Ul Haq wrote, “I have not sold my song “Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages. Producers like @karanjohar should not use copy songs. This is my 6th song being copied which will not be allowed at all. @DharmaMovies @karanjohar (sic).”

Moreover, his next tweet read, “Song “Nach Punjaban” has not been licensed. If someone is claiming it, then produce the agreement. I will be taking legal action. #NachPunjaban (sic).”
