Digital Desk: Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq has accused Karan Johar of copying his song “Nach Punjaban” in his new film Jugjugg Jeeyo which stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani.

However, a day after its launch, the Pakistani singer took to social media to announce that he had not sold the rights to his song “Nach Punjaban” to any Indian film or production company. He stated that “producers like Karan Johar” should not copy music and threatened to take legal action against the illegal usage of his song. He said that this was the sixth time his song had been copied.

Sharing this news on Twitter, Abrar Ul Haq wrote, “I have not sold my song “Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages. Producers like @karanjohar should not use copy songs. This is my 6th song being copied which will not be allowed at all. @DharmaMovies @karanjohar (sic).”

Moreover, his next tweet read, “Song “Nach Punjaban” has not been licensed. If someone is claiming it, then produce the agreement. I will be taking legal action. #NachPunjaban (sic).”
