As per Mishra, the accused were receiving money from their Pakistani handlers, and various cases, including ones under the Official Secrets Act, have been filed against them.

Digital Desk: Director General of Police (Intelligence) Umesh Mishra reported that two men were detained on Saturday for allegedly spying for Pakistan in Rajasthan.

Mishra claimed that Narayan Lal Gadri, one of the two and a native of Bhilwara, handed SIM cards from Indian telecom firms to Pakistani handlers so they could operate social media accounts. Gadri is 27 years old and is one of the two. A Pakistani lady handler was also in contact with the second accused, Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat, 24, a resident of Jaipur who worked as a salesman at a liquor store in Pali.

According to Mishra, Shekhawat allegedly ran social media profiles pretending to be female Indian Army personnel. He continued by saying the second defendant was charged with using friendship to obtain sensitive information from army jawans.

As per Mishra, the accused were receiving money from their Pakistani handlers, and various cases, including ones under the Official Secrets Act, have been filed against them.

Army soldier Shantimoy Rana was taken into custody in July on suspicion of providing Pakistan with sensitive intelligence. Three people from Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, and Churu were detained in the same month for interacting with Pakistani intelligence officers on social media and providing them with important information.
