During his visit to Assam, the Home Minister will participate in electoral campaigns. The HM is also scheduled to speak to huge crowds in Lakhimpur and Hojai, according to sources.

Previous reports stated that Amit Shah would only make his second trip to Assam after the Lok Sabha elections are over, following the cancellation of his two-day visit on March 14 and 15.

The visit had been cancelled, but no explanation was given. In preparation for the impending Lok Sabha elections, Amit Shah was scheduled to attend party conferences and give speeches at open forums.

Amit Shah was supposed to speak at rallies for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Nazira, Sivasagar, and Margherita in Tinsukia. He was scheduled to speak at a town hall session in Guwahati on March 15, according to state BJP president Bhabesh Kalita.

On March 15, Amit Shah was also scheduled to open the Bardowa Project in Nagaon district, Assam, the birthplace of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva. Assam Water Resources Minister Pijush Hazarika provided this information.
