Digital Desk: Due to severe weather, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's helicopter made an emergency landing in north Bengal at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. According to sources, the chief minister received a minor injury to her back and knee and was brought to SSKM hospital in Kolkata.
The chief minister has sustained some injuries as a result of the emergency landing, according to a senior doctor from SSKM Hospital. She is being looked at. She is receiving care from senior doctors. An MRI examination of the left knee joint revealed ligament damage with fluid accumulation, as well as signs of ligament damage in the left hip joint. Treatment has already started. Despite being recommended to be hospitalised, she insisted on continuing her treatment at home," he added.
Because of heavy rain, the chopper was forced to make an emergency landing at an Army air base in Salugara, north Bengal.
